Anti-Black Conversations is a platform through which members and allies of the black and brown community pull back the blinders and engage in honest, raw discussions about the anti-blackness they are subjected to within and outside of their own communities.
Founded and moderated by Toni McNeil, the Anti-Black Conversations series provides a safe platform for transparent dialogue within the black community. During these sessions, guest speakers and panelists are encouraged to be vulnerable, open-minded, and to expose the self-loathing and self-hatred they may be unconsciously struggling with due to conditioned anti-blackness.
The purpose of these conversations are to educate, encourage, and expose where anti-blackness systemically lurks within religion, relationships, economics, and every facet of our lives. Guest panelists include community organizers, public officials, social activists as well as educators and academics.
COVID Conversations
COVID Conversations is a “Live” social media platform lifting up the most current statistics, updates, and guidelines surrounding COVID-19, Variants, and the Vaccine. It is also a platform used to hear the various perspectives of people from the Black & Brown communities of color surrounding the myths, fears, and/or direct impact of COVID on their lives.
